Troops of students from Pinaglabanan Elementary School from San Juan marched into the HS MPH to join the Xavier School Para Kay Kiko Club for its Welcoming Day on November 9, 2012.

The Welcoming Day Activity, featuring inspirational addresses, getting-to-kn0w activities and interaction games, was conducted to make the PKK students feel at home here in Xavier School and to meet their teachers and fellow classmates.

Unlike previous years, this year’s PKK Program consists of 4 classes named after the 4 classical elements: earth, fire, water and air. This year’s PKK Program also shifted its meetings from the regular friday afternoons, with sleepy and tired students, to saturday morning, with hopefully, more energized and participative students.

The Para Kay Kiko Program has been running in Xavier for more than 20 years. There are two programs: the summer and the school year instructional program. Members of this club come from the freshmen to sophomore batches. Entrance into the club requires a love for teaching and true heart for service.
