Happy Holidays!

Ahh… It’s the most wonderful time of the year again! Christmas is just around the corner and everyone is excited to celebrate. It’s time to celebrate the long break from school, the gatherings with family, and most especially, the birth of Christ.

What sets Christmas apart from other holidays?

Well for one, everything seems to be better. For instance, there are wonderful and beautiful Christmas decorations all over the city. Also, December is the month that has the most events as opposed to the other months. December is also the month when the family celebrates the warmth of each other. Truly, Christmas brings a feeling like no other. Christmas is also a time to look back at the present year and to look forward to the new year. It is a stage to reminisce both the good times and the bad.

If you are not yet in the Christmas spirit, I recommend you watch some jolly movies now. My favourite Christmas movie is probably Home Alone. It’s very nostalgic and the scenes are in New York, so what’s not to love?

The way people celebrate Christmas varies. There are thousands of traditions all over the world, but everyone celebrates Christmas for only one reason. I think this is what makes Christmas really stand out from all the holidays. It also differs if you are a child or adult too!

As the year 2012 comes to a close, I’d like to personally extend my gratitude for making this year such a blast. I wish nothing but good times and the best! Here are just a few reasons why I think Christmas is the most special out of all the other holidays. Aside from that, Christmas is definitely the time to party! Be happy!

So wherever you are, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
